Visitor Guidelines:

• Visitors understand bookings are confirmed thru our online booking system

*Spaces are limited—open time slots are not guaranteed for walk-in visits

• Drive Slowly in Matilija Canyon! Creep/Beep around the curves, ease down our driveway (5-10mph please)

• An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting ecotopia, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

If you are sick or high risk, please stay home

• Open hours and days are affected by Matilija Canyon’s weather (rain, wind, heat)

• Strict no animal companion(s) policy, ESAs included—please mind our policy before making the drive out

• Come timely. ≈5 mins. early

*Gate closes at 10:15pm, so late arrivals will have a less than a 2-hour window

• Arriving 30 mins. before the end of a booking is considered a no-show/visit forfeited

• Please rinse off before entering the shared waters (cleaning off perfumes/cologne, oils, makeup)

*mineral-based sunscreen formulas acceptable outside of shared waters

• Photography/Videography limited to garden/farm areas, Phone Usage/Food/Glassware/Coolers limited to parking/designated areas—all are prohibited near shared waters (where voices are also quiet)

• No geotagging

• No Alcohol use/Smoking/Vaping

• Pick up after ourselves…we share this land with others, human and non-human
